I bet there are 2 questions here. Why are we moving north and why are we stopping in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, which is quite unremarkable compared to the other stops?
Well, to answer the first question, we are aiming to be in Florence on the 1st of May, to met our friends RIccardo and Sonia, who are in holiday there.
The answer to the second question is not as jolly as the first answer. We have a problem with the engine of the van, the turbine of the diesel engine is not working properly, as sometimes it does not turn on, which means that we have very little power under the hood. Kinda scary when on the highway or going uphill. Here there is a mechanic who is looking into it as I write.
With our home and office in the garage, we are lacking a place to work from. Luckily in the centre of the village, we found Bistro' Vittorio, which gave us an amazing breakfast, electricity and wifi. And Baco is allowed.
