After leaving the wonderful Labante the plan was to stop in Riola to visit a castle, which unfortunately opens only during the weekends during this season. Not too bad, we did some grocery, bought some antihistamines for me and had a coffee before leaving for a bigger village, Porretta Terme. As the name suggests, here there are many thermal spas, but they are of the medical kind. You go there to heal not to relax, so they are very expensive and medical-looking. We stayed here to work a bit and visit the historical centre. Nothing special to report.

We spent the night parked near the torrent, which is called Reno, like the river in northern Europe, very peaceful. In the morning we went to the camping area, 1 euro/hour to shower and then fill the water and empty grey water. Electricity was included so we took advantage of spare diesel to warm up the water.
