This is by far the most beautiful and vibe-perfect place visited so far.
It's a mountain island with a village on one side and a huge castle in ruins at the top.
We started our trip from the parking lot at the end of the short bridge that nowadays connects the island to the mainland, no cars can enter the village, since all the streets are very narrow.

Sara never goes on an adventure without her chocolate milk.
The parking was windy as hell, but luckily the wind was coming from the other side of the mountain which from this point on would protect us from it.
Monvisia used to be a Venetian colony, and we can notice it even if after it was controlled by the Ottomans, some Leoni di San Marco survived

Now, this island was never conquered by force, beside that it used to be an island, as an attacker you should first break into the village walls, then into the walls protecting the staircase to the castle on top of the mountain, and climb those, then the walls on top of it, and then several other layers, and all while being shot at any step with cannons, even before touching the ground.
